Positioner project "LaotSe"

The family enterprise from Ratingen immediately won together in cooperation with partners such as the Frauenhofer Institute the first prize in the support project “Airport start- and landing runway monitoring by multimodal networked sensor systems “LaotSe”. Thus the medium-sized company has shown that high technology is not only made in large corporations.

Wilhelm Winter GmbH & Co. KG is one of the winners together with the partners Fraunhoferinstitut for High-frequency Physics and Radar Technology (FHR) (former Research Society for Applied Sciences (FGAN), Wachtberg), the Interdisciplinary Centre for Sensor Systems at the universtiy of Siegen (ZESS) as well as the PMD Technologies GmbH, Siegen, with the sponsorship project “Airport start- and landing runway monitoring by multimodal networked sensor systems "LaotSe" of the first high-tech technology competition "Hightech.NRW". The project is supported within the programme Research, Innovation and Technologies by the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen (FIT). Further information is available under: Hightech.NRW
